Rubber powder is the final step in Shredwell waste tire recycling process. At this stage, rubber crumb from crumb rubber line are processed into around rubber powder, the powder size can be as fine as 120 mesh adjusted by centrifugal screen.
Rubber powder has numerous uses – like rubber powder mixed with asphalt to be modified asphalt widely used in highway application or water-proof industry, or to make reclaiming rubber, or as raw material used as injection molding products, coatings, roofing materials. This micron-size material has the advantage of being incorporated into new or existing formulations for various polymers and finished products.
Rubber powder plant output contains steel, fiber and clean rubber powder. Processors are able to sell to buyers or continue processing for additional material outputs.
